(1) Advantages of solar home garden lights
1. Green and environmental protection, high safety factor, low operating power, no potential safety hazards, and can be recycled, with little pollution to the environment.
2. The light irradiated by solar garden lights is soft and not dazzling, without any light pollution, and does not produce other radiation.
3. The solar garden light has a long service life, and the semiconductor chip emits light, and the cumulative life can reach tens of thousands of hours, which is often higher than that of ordinary garden lights.
4. The use efficiency is high, and the solar energy can be effectively converted into light energy. Compared with ordinary lamps, such as heat energy into light energy, the efficiency is several times higher.
(2) Disadvantages of solar home garden lights
1. Instability
In order to make solar energy a continuous and stable energy source, and finally become an alternative energy source that can compete with conventional energy sources, the problem of energy storage must be solved well, that is, the solar radiation energy in sunny days should be stored as much as possible for night or rainy days. However, energy storage is also one of the weaker links in solar energy utilization.
2. Low efficiency and high cost
Because of the low efficiency and high cost, in general, the economy cannot compete with conventional energy sources. For a considerable period of time in the future, the further development of solar energy utilization will be mainly restricted by economy.
2. How to install solar garden lights
1. Installation of battery board
Determine the inclination angle of the battery panel according to the local latitude, weld the bracket with 40*40 galvanized angle steel, and fix the bracket to the side wall with expansion screws. Weld steel bars with a diameter of 8mm on the bracket and a length of 1 to 2 meters. The bracket is connected to the lightning protection belt on the roof with steel bars. Drill holes on the bracket, and use Φ8MM or Φ6MM stainless steel screws to fix the battery board on the bracket.

2. Battery installation
A. First check whether the packaging of the battery is damaged, and then carefully unpack the package to check whether the batteries are in good condition one by one; and check the date of manufacture of the batteries.
B. The voltage of the battery is DC12V, 80AH. Two of the same model and specification are connected in series to provide 24V power supply.
C. Put the two batteries into the buried box (type 200). After the outlet of the buried box is glued, fasten the protection tube (with steel wire water supply pipe) with step-by-step buckles, and use silicone after the other end of the protection tube leads out. Sealant seals to prevent water ingress.
D. The size of the pit for digging the buried box: the point adjacent to the base of the garden light, the depth is 700MM, the length is 600MM, and the width is 550MM.
E. Buried box pool: Surrounded by single brick cement, put the buried box with battery into the pool, lead out the wire pipe, and cover it with a cement board.
F. The polarity of the interconnection between the batteries must be correct, and the connection must be very firm.
G. After the battery pack is connected, connect the positive and negative poles of the battery pack to the positive and negative poles of the power controller respectively. Then apply a layer of petroleum jelly to the joint.
3. Controller installation
A. The controller adopts a special controller for solar power. When connecting the wires, first connect the terminals of the battery on the controller, then connect the wires of the photovoltaic panel, and finally connect the load terminals.
B. Be sure to pay attention to the batteries, photovoltaic panels, load +, – poles can not be reversed, photovoltaic panels, battery cables can not be short-circuited. The controller is placed in the lamp post and fixed with bolts, and the door on the lamp post is locked.
4. The base of the lamp holder
Concrete pouring, code: C20. Size: 400mm*400mm*500mm, pre-embedded screw inspection M16mm, length 450mm, with two Φ6mm reinforcing ribs in the middle. (See Figure 3)
5. Laying of wires
A. All the connecting wires used are threaded through pipes. When they go off the roof, they can be led down from the threading well, or they can be routed along the downpipe from the floor. The ? 25mm threading pipe is used for the roof line, and the ? Pipe, threading pipe joints, elbows, tees, sealed with glue.
B. Use metal water supply hoses to connect in special places, and do a good job of waterproofing. Most of the connecting wires use BVR2*2.5mm2 sheathed wires.
