First, Selection of construction site The construction site and surrounding environment shall be inspected to ensure the feasibility of project implementation.
1 There should be no obstructions around the street lamp installation site to ensure that the solar cells can receive normal lighting. If it is difficult to ensure that there are no obstructions throughout the day, try to ensure that there is no obstruction between 9:00 am and 15:00 pm.
2 The installation site must have smooth drainage. If there are low-lying water points such as rivers or puddles within 10 meters from the installation site, the lowest point of the foundation must be higher than the highest water level within 50 years of the water point.
3 Public facilities such as electric cables and optical cables cannot be laid underground at the installation site.
4 According to the construction design, determine the position of the light pole and the light distance. If there is a change on site, it should be negotiated with the owner in time to determine the solution.
Second,Pre-embedded light pole foundation Dig a hole at the position of the light pole to make the light pole foundation: the company provides the foundation embedded drawing of the corresponding specification street lamp
1. After excavation, ground wire brazing should be used to detect whether there are obstacles and underground pipelines underground. If there is any, it should be moved out of the way, and brutal construction should be avoided.
2 Lay an 8 cm thick cushion in the foundation pit.
3 Concrete for foundation pouring shall be processed centrally, mixed evenly with a mixer, and transported to the construction site by vehicle.
4 When pouring the concrete independent foundation on the cushion, it should be vibrated while pouring; before the pouring is completed, the embedded parts of the anchor bolts should be buried, and the anchor bolts should be grouted for the second time.
5 Pay attention to the bolt protection measures on the light pole foundation to prevent damage to the bolts.
6. For the lower pre-embedded threading pipe (protection pipe), a special person should be assigned to align the outlet hole of the foundation with the outlet hole of the battery in time. Avoid bending the pre-embedded threading pipe. The inner diameter shall not be less than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the steel wire hose to be worn. If the protective pipe is bent, it shall not be less than 2 times. Try to avoid dead bends. The lower port should be kept at a slight downward slope. The mouth of the pipe must be blocked with something to prevent debris such as sand from pouring into the pipe to block the threading pipe during the construction process.
7 After pouring, adjust the level of the embedded parts and level the concrete foundation surface.
8 Before installing the light pole foundation, find out the verticality from two directions, monitor the verticality during the installation process, and the verticality deviation is not more than 5 mm to ensure the verticality of the light pole.
9 The finished foundation must be maintained for 2-5 days (according to the ambient temperature during construction, which is controlled by the construction personnel). If the requirements are met, repairs should be carried out in a timely manner.
Third, install batteries, buried battery boxes (or lithium batteries)
1 There should be no water accumulation in the place where the battery is buried.
2 Before burying the battery box, a working pit should be dug first, and the size is generally 1m*1m*1m or larger (the length and width vary with the specifications of the battery buried box, and the depth varies with the region. layer below).
3 After excavation, ground wires should be used to detect whether there are obstacles and underground pipelines underground.
4 Check that the battery voltage is higher than 12.6 volts (12 volt system) is qualified, then place the battery horizontally in the battery box, fix it firmly, ensure that the battery terminals are bright and clean, and polish the terminals bright with a wire brush or sandpaper if necessary , firmly connect the battery output wires (positive and negative poles are separated), two wires are covered with a steel wire hose, and then put on the threading mouth of the battery box (the overlapping length is about 25mm), and the double steel wire hoop is used to center fasten. Do a good job of waterproofing, anticorrosion, short circuit prevention, and heat preservation, and finally cover the battery box for waterproofing.
5 After the working pit is dug, start to bury the battery box, find out the level of the battery box, the inner diameter of the pre-embedded threading pipe (protective pipe) shall not be less than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the steel wire hose worn, and when the protective pipe is bent, it shall not be less than 2 times, to avoid dead bends.
6. The protection tube shall not have any perforation, cracks and uneven defects, and the inner wall shall be smooth and free of burrs, and there shall be no sundries inside.
7. The steel wire hose passes through the ground from bottom to top. After installation, backfill the earth to restore the original road surface, and clean up the construction site.
Fourth, install solar photovoltaic panels
1. First, level the solar panel support (the board support may be bent during transportation), so that the solar panel can be placed on it flatly.
2. Securely fix the solar panel on the bracket with bolts, nuts, and washers. When the solar battery is placed vertically, the junction box should be at the top. When the solar battery is placed horizontally, the junction box should be close to the light pole assembly.
Fifth, connect the solar battery cable
1 Connection for system voltage 12V or 24V.
2 Connect the red wire to the positive pole of the solar panel, and the black wire to the negative pole of the solar panel, and then tighten the waterproof sealing nut under the junction box to secure the wires in the junction box.
3 After the connection of the two wires is completed, be sure to measure whether there is voltage at the output terminal. The terminal head of the red wire is positive; the terminal head of the black wire is negative. In fine weather, the open circuit voltage of the module should be greater than 17-18 volts (12 volt system) or 34-36 volts (24 volt system). When the light is low, the voltage is lower.
4. Series and parallel connection of solar panels: If the solar panels need to be connected in series or parallel, there must be a reverse diode in the junction box of the solar panel. If the system voltage of the street lamp is 24 volts and the voltage of the solar cell components is 17-18 volts, the solar cell components should be connected in series. The method of series connection is the positive pole (or negative pole) of the first component and the negative pole (or If the voltage of the solar battery module is 34-36 volts, the solar battery modules should be connected in parallel. The method of parallel connection is that the positive and negative poles of the first module are connected with the positive and negative poles of the second module.
5 After all the wiring is completed, cover the cover of the junction box and fasten it with screws.
6 After the check is correct, the next step of the work of the solar cell can be done.
Sixth, the installation of light poles, lamps and cables
1 Before installing the light pole, visually check that the weld seam of the light pole is well-proportioned and there is no false welding. The plastic spraying should have no bulge, pinhole, crack or missing spray, etc. The straightness error of the pole body is less than 3%.
2 When installing the light pole, try to prevent the surface coating from being strangled or cut. It is strictly forbidden to use a wire rope to strangle or throw it down from the car.
3 The installation of the light pole should be upright, the vertical deviation should not be greater than half the diameter of the lamp tip, the light pole should be set up on a line parallel to the longitudinal axis of the road, and the lateral displacement should not be greater than half the diameter of the pole root.
4 Check whether the light source is normal before installation, so as to avoid unnecessary troubles caused by installation that may be damaged during transportation.
5 The installation of lamps and lanterns should be correct and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the road, the error should not be greater than 3 degrees, and there should be no distortion after installation.
6. When installing the light pole, the bolts of each part should be firmed with flat pads and spring pads. After tightening, the exposed nuts of the bolts should not be less than two pitches.
7 The bolts of the lamp holder and lamp body must be tightened, and reinforcement measures should be taken for the parts that may rotate under wind pressure.
8 Thread the wires using the pre-threaded threading wire. When threading, it is forbidden to pull hard to avoid scratching or even breaking the sheath line. Sufficient margin must be left for the sheath wire connecting the solar cell module and the light source; the power wire connecting the controller must be bent downwards to prevent water from flowing into the terminal along the wire.
Eighth, the connection of the controller
1 The output line of the solar cell, the output line of the lamp head and the connection line of the storage battery. These three sets of wires must be connected to the controller, and the connection sequence is: 1. Connect to the battery 2. Connect to the load (light source) 3. Connect to the solar battery (operate according to the requirements of the installed controller). If this wiring sequence is violated, the whole system will not work properly.
2 Connect the battery first. First measure the voltage of the battery to see if it is within the specified range, and then make the positive and negative wires of the battery well (no burrs on the metal head. The length of the metal head depends on the depth of the terminal hole of the controller, and it should not be too long. To avoid overlapping short circuit between the wires), after the wires are connected, insert the positive pole into the “+” terminal hole of the battery marked on the controller, and tighten the screw, and connect the negative pole to the corresponding “-” terminal hole. Whether there is voltage, pay attention to the operation when wiring, and do not let the positive and negative poles of the battery pass through the casing or cause a short circuit with the tools in hand.
3 After the battery is connected to the controller, the controller starts to work, and the corresponding battery indicator lights up. Ten minutes later, there should be voltage at the output terminal of the load, connect the load (light source), and the light source will be turned on immediately.
4 Connect the load (light source) again, unplug the protective wire cover of the light source, the red line is the positive pole, and the black line is the negative pole. Connect them to the load terminals of the controller respectively (the light source “+” and “-” wiring terminal holes marked on the controller). Note: Do not connect the positive and negative poles incorrectly, otherwise it may cause damage to the load.
5 After the light is on, it will take another minute or two to connect the solar panel.
6 Finally connect the solar panel. Unplug the protective wire cover of the solar panel, the red wire is the positive pole, and the black wire is the negative pole. First measure the voltage between the wires. When the light is weak, the voltage should be lower. In fine weather, the open circuit voltage of the module should be greater than 18 volts (12 volt system) or 36 volts (24 volt system). The positive and negative poles of the solar battery are not afraid of short-circuiting for a short time, so connect the two wires of the solar battery to the corresponding terminals of the controller. Note that the positive and negative poles cannot be connected incorrectly.
7 After the controller is connected to the solar battery, if there is sufficient voltage (above 10 volts) on the solar panel, the controller will consider it to be in the state of dawn. After ten minutes, the street lights will be turned off. Wait until it gets dark to turn on the lights again.
8 At this point, all the wires of the controller have been connected. It must be carefully rechecked: whether the connection between the terminal of the controller and the three sets of wires is well connected, whether there are burrs, whether there are exposed metal wires, and whether the screws for fixing the wires are tightened.
Ninth, trial run
1 Before the trial run, a detailed inspection should be done, and the controller, solar battery cable, load cable, battery cable, and insurance should be carefully rechecked to see if they are connected properly.
2 After operation, send personnel to inspect the turn-on time, turn-off time, and luminous efficiency of each solar street light, and take corrective measures immediately if any problems are found to ensure normal operation.
Tenth, matters needing attention
1 When installing the battery pack, handle it with care, and it is strictly forbidden to short-circuit or drop the pack.
2. The connecting wire of the battery module must be firmly fixed at the bracket to prevent the terminal from loosening or even falling off due to long-term sagging or pulling of the power wire.
3 When installing the lamp holder and light source, handle it with care to ensure that the light transmission cover is clean and free of scratches, and it is strictly forbidden to roll over and throw it.
4 Do not touch the battery terminals when moving the battery, and it is strictly forbidden to short-circuit or roll over or throw the battery.
5 Pay attention to the positive and negative poles when wiring, and it is strictly forbidden to reverse the connections. The terminals are crimped firmly without looseness.
6 Do not touch the “+” and “-” poles of the solar cell module or battery at the same time to avoid the risk of electric shock.
7 For street lamps with inverter power supply, the inverter outputs high-voltage electricity, which is life-threatening if touched.
8 Avoid scratching the lamp body during installation.
