This kind of controller does not need to adjust the time, it will automatically sense the light intensity to control the on and off lights, after installation, there is no need to adjust the on and off time according to the season, it will automatically turn off during the day and automatically turn on at night. This kind of light control control is currently the most widely used in lithium battery solar street lights, and the cost is also lower than other control methods.
Some customers will ask whether the street lights will automatically turn on if it is cloudy. This depends on the effect of cloudy days. In common cloudy days, it will not light up. It will only light up in extreme conditions. Of course, it is necessary to turn on the lights in such cloudy days, and solar street lights are better than commercial LED street lights. The biggest advantage is that it can also be used for lighting in extreme weather, because the voltage is 12v and it is safe to use electricity without fear of leakage.
2. Time control
Time control is also a common way to control the time of solar street lamps. It is to pre-book the time and turn on or off the lights when it reaches a certain time. Now the more advanced time control controller can modify the time remotely.
Through the above two basic methods, different combinations can be made, such as light-controlled lighting + time-controlled light-off, time-controlled light + light-controlled light-off and other combinations. For example, our company’s solar street lights are mainly based on light control time, so that customers do not need to use special personnel to control the time, and will not cause unnecessary waste of electricity, and the overall price is relatively cheap.
Solar street lights are now divided into split-type solar street lights and solar integrated lights. The split-type solar street light controller is generally placed in the light pole, as shown in the figure below, and the controller can be seen by opening the protective cover of the light pole.
It’s not difficult to adjust * just press the setting switch, but the instructions on many controller switches are in English. If you don’t have an instruction manual, try not to adjust it, so as not to damage the controller and cause the street lights to be off.
The controllers of solar integrated lights are all in the lamp head. If you want to adjust it, you need to climb the pole or put the pole down, and open the lamp head to adjust.
